ABOUT THE PRODUCTION LOGO:
The figure represented in the Lavorsia Pictures Entertainment production logo is a figure known as the "Cyber-Angel". The Cyber-Angel was conceived by Bill Cornelius around the fall of 2003. With a passion both for technology and spirituality, Bill constructed the first image of the Cyber-Angel; an angel with cybernetic attributes. The image first appeared on the cover of the 2003 Havoc Hanok the Nanok techno album appropriately titled "Cyber-Angel". The idea of the Cyber-Angel inspired Bill and led him towards considering the figure as part of the soon-to-be production company Lavorsia Pictures.
During the spring of 2005, Bill created his very personal short film "Lavorsia". "Lavorsia" wrestled with the iconography of angels and the importance of faith/spiritual growth in order to maintain hope and optimism. Bill finally made the decision to use the Cyber-Angel for the Lavorsia Pictures production logo.
Bill did dozens of sketches and created 4-different conceptual logos before arriving on the current Lavorsia Pictures logo. The Cyber-Angel has inevitably become the "mascot" of Lavorsia Pictures Entertainment, much like the MGM lion, DreamWorks' boy on the moon, Disney's Mickey Mouse, and so on. In 2006, the first computer generated version of the Cyber-Angel was created.
What does she represent? The Cyber-Angel is a culmination of many things. She symbolizes strength, integrity, hope, passion, and all the things that the iconography of an angel represent. She also embodies imagination, technology, innovation, and a certain edgy sex appeal. She stands perched upon the company name, protecting it and representing it.
